Its been along time...again. I'm really just gonna stop apologizing for it. Its getting redundant. I've been so busy finishing up the school year. Still didn't graduate. I'm going to be in this school and this town forever. Never getting out. Like a Stephen King movie.

I'm still working...loving my job and learning new stuff everyday. We just moved into Lauren's apartment, and its so fun so far! I absolutely love living with her. Its nice to have roommates again. Its looking like we're both gonna graduate in December now...then start making the life plans and whatnot. London, Cali, who really knows at this point. Shannon was here this weekend...which was relieving....good or bad, she rejuvenates me.

So...we got rid of the TiVo, which was initially painful, but its made us realize that the only thing we really need (using the term 'need' loosely) to watch is Lost. Because come on, its Lost. So we decided to go without the TiVo at least through the summer. Again, refreshing. But, I tell you that story to introduce really what made me remember to update the LJ...Upfronts!! Thats right...the tv week I wait for all year is here. And...I have to say I'm waiting with a little less baited breath this year. First, I haven't heard a whole lot of buzz about anything that excites me, and second, even if I had, there was a lot of buzz and excitement last year for what turned out to be a pretty disappointing year for new shows. There was the the megahit, Heroes, which I was into for a while, but when it came down to trim the must sees, it didn't make the cut. There was Shark, a quiet success that I actually ended up really enjoying. Again, I don't plan around it, but if I'm home I'll watch. Those are basically the only two that did well enough to stick around that I actually enjoyed. Then there was Studio 60, which, I still love and can't get enough of, but absolutely tanked in the press and the ratings. Talk about disappointment. Especially for the most talked about show preseason. So this year, my expectations are low in the hope that something wonderful comes through and surprises me. I'm hearing good things about Pushing Daises, and Michael Vartan's new show has to be at least worth giving a shot. I mean, its Michael Vartan on my small screen again. I'm sure Private Practice will go, thanks solely to the biggest Hack that ever Hacked, Ms. Shonda Rhimes herself, because the show is not good. Its things like this that make me completely sure that American Pop Culture has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Anyway, thats it for now. Countdown started for a great summer...

I'm trying to update more, but it just doesn't seem to be working! With the new job, I feel like I never slow down and I go to bed on average around 7 or 8 at night. Which means I don't see anyone because I'm up hours and hours before anyone and I go to bed hours and hours before anyone should! Seriously...I'm neglecting everyone in life. My mom, my sister, my psuedo/future roomie, kelbelle and my wonderful email girls...the list goes on. But in spite of all that, I am IN LOVE with my life right now. I love love love my job...can't wait to get up and go everyday, I love that Lauren is here all the time...can't wait for her and Bliss to actually move in. It's just good. All the time.

The down side with no silver lining is that my classes are suffering. I'm going everyday, but I still feel so behind. And its so hard to get motivated when I just want to be out and doing what I want to be doing. Spring break will have to be hardcore catch up time.

Speaking of SB, we've finally nailed down plans for Austin next weekend, which isn't Cali, but it will have to do for now. We're excited about it. And we're stopping in Waco to see Cassie! Which is so fun because I haven't seen her in forever.

I got my hair done, um, three weeks ago? A month? And its already starting to fade. Damn the red! So, I think I'ma try to get that fixed the weekend after Austin. Or the next weekend. I am SO high maintainence....seriously.

That's all I got for now...off to get ready for work on a weekend. So fun!

...On so many levels.

First of all, what is my issue. I get like...a dollar...and I can't not spend it. It's just...the tiny bit of ANYTHING I have, and I take it way too far. I went to the mall to get mousse and I ended up getting a book, two movies, two pairs of earings, a skirt...and I don't even know what else. I blame the earrings on Lauren, as I do a LOT of stuff, but thats another story.

Speaking of Lauren, she's on Season Three of Alias....FLOVE.

I finally got my hair done...the silver lining in my weekend, and I LOVE the color. And I love that Shannon lives in Lubbock now because it splits my trip to the handle.....blah.

The book I bought was the third in the P&P series, which basically means I'm choosing not to do homework for the next week. Awesome Sum, get some self control...seriously.

On the plus side, I'm going to Cali in...umm...THREE WEEKS. Yeah, three weeks. Amazing. And I cannot freakin wait. The wish list is now three. Uggs, Vid iPod, and....something else I can't remember now. Because its seven in the morning. Oh well. Oh yeah, SideKick. I want that one really bad. So bad I can't even stand it.

Sleepless...

So Lauren and I have come to the conclusion that sleep is unnecessary. Or at least I have and I'm dragging her along with me because we just spent an uneventful night full of random activities like studying, alias, talks of london, and good dessert. I swear, I only need to sleep every other night now. But still fun times.

Every single assignment I have now is a case study. I have four different case studies due for four different classes at any given time, and the countdown to getting the hell out of here creeps by. And now we're rethinking plans. As in, Cali plans. Not forever, just....on hold. Now we want to spend a year in London. Good plan, no? Now we have to put it into action. Because we love this plan.

In other news, no new developments with the current problem plaguing my life. And if you know me you know the problem to which I am referring. I swear I don't have the emotional capacity to handle this shit. Honestly.

So new Greys and Ugly Betty tonight. That's exciting...and the moments left in the life of the OC continue to tick by. Dear Lord that can't come soon enough. The only death that will be more merciful than that will be Gilmore Girls. Please, oh please, get that garbage off my tv screen. And in honor of my slowly admitting that I do watch Grey's again (watch, not respect, lets not get crazy)....

Whoa...seriously? I haven't written in FOREVER! I'm in class and my professor just reminded me and I'm just sitting here bored so I thought why not.

The holidays came and went without much to say...got some cool stuff though. I'm back at school now and I definitely only have class on TR. LOVE. Can't wait to get the hell out of here. Honestly, I can't believe its only four months away. So exciting and scary.

In other news, I'm totally going to Cali in March to scope out what's waiting for me this summer. I feel this huge shift coming in my life and everything about it is so exciting.

The job hunt still sucks...no updates on that front. I'm such a lazy piece of crap. I haven't been writing either...mostly just reading. I just finished Mr. Darcy takes a Wife, and now I'm on to Darcy and Elizabeth. SO GREAT. Once I start though, I can't stop and my school work seriously suffers.

Almost time to leave class and go watch STUDIO...

Well, I made it to Chicago...painfully. The trip so far is great, but I missed my flight from Abilene, so I had to change gears real quick and drive to Dallas like a bat out of hell. I've seriously never been so focused on driving somewhere. I pulled up to the departure entrance with about 5 minutes to spare before I had to be checked in, and my dad parked my car while I ran to check my baggage. And apparently I forgot about the horrible experience in London two days after the terrorist stuff when I was packing, and going through security I got about $100 of crap taken up from me including a full bottle of perfume, a full jar of body butter, a zippo, and a bunch of other stuff, all of which was completely my fault. Stupid STUPID Summer.

So anyway...Chicago...is fabulous. It sort of reminds me of Paris at some points, but I think thats just the river and the L. My mom totally surprised us with a limo for the long drive from the airport to the hotel, and the hotel is great. We just got back from Wicked and that was AWESOME. I love going to plays. I went shopping and got a few things there, which was fun. Spending dad's money is the best:)

We're going to see Blue Man Group tomorrow, and going to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. The only thing that sucks is that on Monday, I have to drive back even though I have a flight booked. Suck.

I can't wait for this week to be over. I've had bad headaches and random fevers. I've missed two classes. I still have a quiz to study for and a lab to finish before tomorrow at 5. Yuck.

On the upside, I'm going to Chicago in a week, so thats fun. I get money again tomorrow, so I won't be poor anymore...and I lucked out finding the Veronica Mars premiere online! SO FANTASTIC! The new intro is awesome...so perfectly noir.

Fowler and I are going to eat our favorite mexican tonight...yay! And its Thursday...lets see if Grey's keeps up this good episode streak tonight.

Slow weekend...spent most of it doing homework and cleaning house...and watching LOST! Man I love LOST. I only bought the second season, but I'm thinking about buying the first. Good stuff.

Nothing new in the school dept...it still sucks. I spent today doing an Excel exercise for an hour. There's something I'll never use again. AWESOME.

I guess I'm kinda pissy this weekend...and I realized something. As a rule, I hate people. Yeah...I'm a treat.

I also watched Secret Window today. Alone. No, I don't know what I was thinking. I don't like scary movies to begin with and then I go and decide to watch it alone. Ahh, the power of Johnny Depp. But that creeped my shit out.

OMG...it's been so long since I've written! Europe was great...except for that whole bomb scare thing. You know...its one thing to hear about it....but its completely different to be there, involved and seeing the ramifications. Scary.

We're back in school now...fun! Two more semesters and I'm outta here! So I've been just hanging out...seeing people that came back from the summer! I like most of my classes in general.

So....Nick and Phyllis? Still doing good...I love my Y&R girls! Speaking of which (TV that is)...the new season is about to start! Studio 60, Justice, and Heroes I love! I'm super pumped about them...but I totally can't wait for my favs to start again! Lost, GG, Veronica! And Dancing with the Stars starts in a week! I love those guilty pleasures! And LOST season two comes out on Tuesday! YAY can't wait! Ahh...I love the fall!

So...I've finally gotten past my writer's block on my Sarkney fic! That new chap should be up soon!

Good day...

I had it all planned out (because, yes, I'm a planner)...I was gonna get up, meet the repair guy, go feed lainey and do all my errands. Well the repair guy didnt come until like 5:00. So I couldn't leave cause I didnt know when he was getting here.

So I had to wait and hang around here till then. I tried to finish up my online class...I was somewhat successful, more tomorrow I guess.

So I ended up starting my errands at like 6:00...not ideal...and its freaking tax free weekend. GREAT. It was a zoo. BUT I got two supercute shirts and a cute pair of pants. Basically exactly what I went to get....and when does that happen??? Never. So good things.

I just watched some Nick and Phyllis vids with kelbelle and floved them....nice! And last...I'm going to London in two days...thank God.

...cause I WANT to chop my head off. Seriously...I don't ever remember feeling this bad. I don't really ever get sick...BUT when I do get sick, its usually related to my asthma, and I'm used to that. Now I have strep, and I can't swallow, freakin swallow, without crying. I'm a little better, but I had to go to the doctor. I hate the damn doctor. Three damn hours and they poked the back of my throat and stuck me with a damn needle...I hate needles.

My fam left for Europe today...my mom's so cute cause she's never been...and she's in a good mood (always a plus!). My sis spent the night here, which would have been fun, if I wasn't dying. Yeah...

adendum: Lance totally got "Gulliver's Travels" on Wheel today with NO LETTERS. Made my day.

I got a text message this morning at 8:14 from Lance...I was in bed because I decided not to go to class...but yeah it said "got robbed don't know what to do". So that was fun. I got up and ran over there and he was just sitting there like the silly boy that he is. He wasn't kidding - he really didn't know what to do.

So we called the police and they went through the house to make sure no one was still there so I could check on Laney, and then we wrote down everything that was missing...and I got to watch them dust for prints, which was cool. (hello...silver lining)

He's living in the small apartment and he has his computer and tv and ipod in there - so he was okay...but his roommates got a bunch of stuff taken from the main house including two tvs, a dvd player, and I'm storing stuff there and they took my microwave. YES! It's already a great Friday.

It was really creepy though, because nothing was ransacked...they came in through one window and just took very specific things. It was like they new exactly what to go for. And another perfect example of my relationship with my mother? Me: hey, we got robbed, but we're okay . Mom: oh I'm sorry...so, I lost 12 pounds! yeah.

We laid out yesterday, something I haven't had a whole lot of time for this summer, and because of that...I'm fried. Like I can't move. Mostly just from the chest up (yeah I look like Rudolph), but still...painful!

I feel like the summer is flying by...and I mixed emotions about it. I like being busy, I like that at some point it won't be this &$%#&@! hot anymore and I like that it just gets me closer to getting the crap out of here....on the other hand...I do like summertime. heh.

Side note: Can I just mention how much I love Krystal :) Woman, aside from horribly contributing to my nasty habit, our times are the best times! Love you babe.

I spent most of the weekend with Court educating her in the beauty that is Veronica Mars. How many is that now? She is officially obsessed...and I love recruiting new converts!! Rob Thomas owes me for real.

Okay, so that part of my weekend was fun, but I spent the rest of the weekend crying. Can anyone point me in the direction of the New Parents Depot? Thats such a horrible thing to say...but I'm not even kidding. And not even for me...for Shannon. Every single day it breaks my heart to know that my precious sister (who yes, can be a pain in the ass) is actually starting to believe that her parents don't love her. And I say her parents because because we really do have two different sets of parents. My parents are loving, generous( even if for alterior motives), and want to hang out with me. Her parents are callous, manipulative, and constantly tell her they could live without her. I mean really? And the best part is...she makes me stay out of it. I'm not allowed to even let on that I know its going on.

I wish I knew what it was like to live in some semblence of a 'normal' family...because at this rate, I'M going to need counseling for whats going on between them. And its not even me.

And now I may not be going to London, the highlight of my year, because they keep threatening to not let her go. They are so mature.

Yay! I have been waiting for forever to see this movie and I finally did and it was great! I'm not sure I agree with the general message...I mean not that I think you should stomp around yelling at people...nevermind. It was good. Lance and I ate lunch and went, and I've lived in Abilene for four years and I haven't gotten around to eating at Cypress Street, so we did today. I had some kind of chicken and pasta and it was fantastic. Good day.

The 'Nicks the daddy' news came out today...that was fun. I broke out the Pimms! And got three posts removed...heh. I thought they were pretty tame, but whatever.

On a less happy note, my disposal's still broken, so I'm still eating out or food you don't cook and that sucks and it isn't healthy. I hate renting.

I am just a little bit excited about this week! It should be (SHOULD BE - do you hear me LML?) a great Nick and Phyllis week...I've got bunches of class crap to keep me busy, and I'm going to London in three weeks, about. And...my precious little nephew might be coming to see me, so that makes my day too!

I am SO full right now...Court and Lance came over for poppyseed and broccoli and cheese...simple but yummy, and I love being betty crocker...you know this:)

I've now seen Pirates FOUR times...I think? Maybe its five, either way, it gets better every time! Now, if I can get this stupid english HW out of the way, I'll be good to go.

Chiefs & Royals

EIther I'm completely ignorant and uninformed...or I'm not, but I definitely found out today that both the Kansas City Royals, and the Kansas City Chiefs - DON'T play in Kansas...they play in Missouri. Who knew? I sure didn't. I feel incredibly stupid. Thank you jeopardy for teaching me yet another valuable lesson.

I sat at the Leaf today and drank a glass of Peach Schnapps at 11:30 in the morning. What's the matter with me? No clue. And here's the worst part. We're sitting there, and these two ladies bring in their toddler and their BABY. I said baby like toddler was any better, but whatever. I mean this baby is crawling around on the gross floor amongst cigars and smoke. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'm shocked.

So about a week and a half ago my sis and I had several incredibly productive and enlightening conversations about the ontology of the TomKat baby. And my biggest concern was not that the baby didn't exist, which I still believe it doesn't, but that no one cared. Of all the stupid ass tabloids that make shit up everyday, here was a goldmine that no one was touching. Well, two days after that, it exploded. I swear I'm clairvoyant.

I'm officially a waste of space who does nothing but watch too much TV and read/write/beta too much fanfic...its a good life. I totally justify the TV part though...I want that for a career...good reason right?

I thought about not even writing tonight, because I didn't do anything worth mentioning, but I didn't write yesterday...so why not. My sister went on a date with a child rapist tonight. that's interesting...I'll live vicariously through her. So that's scary...and to give you some idea of what sort of psychotic family I live in...she's doesn't want to tell my mom because she's afraid she'll think she's a drama queen. How fucked up is that? (a lot)

I spent a good 20 minutes tonight cleaning out my email...900 messages. yikes.

Barbeque and Drive Ins

Yeah...I definitely saw Pirates again today. What?? I don't think I've ever seen a movie twice in the theater on consecutive days. We went to the drive in, had barbeque, and watched POTC and Click. It was definitely subpar and went on for way to long, but like hell I'm going to pay 8 bucks at the drive in to see one movie. (not that CJ isn't worth that!) Box office news...WONDERFUL! Those sexy swashbucklers are breakin' all kinds of records. And the new fandom is no longer being debated. We are DEFINITELY on the J/E bandwagon. SO HOT:)

In other news, Brad Lidge sucks my ass, but Garner just might suck it more for continuing to let him pitch. SERIOUSLY...learn the lesson people. I hate the Cardinals. On a slightly more positive note...Derby tomorrow (with Berkman) and the All Star game Tuesday (with Berkman and Oswalt)...so that'll be fun and will involve copious amounts of alcohol...always a plus.

So long to my short ass vacay...up and at 'em bright and early for probably the most useless class I'll ever take...whoopee

So I've come to the conclusion that I'm a fully functioning person without sleep...ever. I love that I'm back to those days. I got back from Lubbock fully planning on passing out...yet here I am. Wonderful.

So, yeah, met the sis in Lub today. That was all kinds of fun. We ate at Chili's while our waiter told me I needed the patch just because I asked him if I remembered correctly that Lubbock had a smoking ban in restaurants. I'm not from this hellhole you assface. We went shopping for a while and I bought some new reefs (black AND brown...YAY:) and got new bags and purses for London...and

PIRATES!! We definitely got to the theater 45 minutes early and still had to get a later showing because it was sold out...at 3 in the afternoon. Damn that's a good movie. So we had to wait in line. I definitely busted out my Auntie Anne's pretzel to eat in line and like a damn bloodhound this woman ran over to let me know I would not be taking that in the theater once we got in. REALLY??? I was under the impression this line wasn't moving for the next hour. You let me know if that changes. Lubbock is FULL of these people.

So anyway...Pirates. Umm, pretty much the greatest thing ever, albeit a bit confusing...didn't see that cliffhanger coming, but I so love it. I missed you Jack Sparrow!! And Knightly did some good work too.

So Shannon had an orgasm when we found a Freebirds and then I drove home. I LOVE driving in the car alone. So much me time!

maybe Pirates opened today...and maybe the Astros beat the Cards last night...maybe I got asked out for the first time since Lance...and maybe I real drunk right now. Ummm....good day.

I finished my class up today...oh thank God. I tooked a nappy for like 3 hours and then drank with Pulp and Lance for a while...then hung out with my lil bro...love me some JayGil!! (not sure how that fits into the random ask out yet........its his best friend)

Can't wait to go to Lub tomorrow to see my sissa cause I haven't seen her since may. that's a long time not to see someone you lived with 5 months ago!

With nothing to do tomorrow, hopefully I'll get around to cleaning and some Sarkney fun!

I had Grandy's for dinner tonight. and I went to the mall for the first time in like two years...didn't get the courage to actually try anything on, but still a little warm up.

I'm rewatching Alias for the 100th time cause my friend is borrowing them...and by borrowing I mean watching under my careful supervision. And he's surprised when I know tiny details.
