Its been along time...again.  I'm really just gonna stop apologizing for it.  Its getting redundant.  I've been so busy finishing up the school year.  Still didn't graduate.  I'm going to be in this school and this town forever.  Never getting out.  Like a Stephen King movie.

I'm still working...loving my job and learning new stuff everyday.  We just moved into Lauren's apartment, and its so fun so far!  I absolutely love living with her.  Its nice to have roommates again.  Its looking like we're both gonna graduate in December now...then start making the life plans and whatnot.  London, Cali, who really knows at this point.  Shannon was here this weekend...which was relieving....good or bad, she rejuvenates me.

So...we got rid of the TiVo, which was initially painful, but its made us realize that the only thing we really need (using the term 'need' loosely) to watch is Lost.  Because come on, its Lost.  So we decided to go without the TiVo at least through the summer.  Again, refreshing.  But, I tell you that story to introduce really what made me remember to update the LJ...Upfronts!!  Thats right...the tv week I wait for all year is here.  And...I have to say I'm waiting with a little less baited breath this year.  First, I haven't heard a whole lot of buzz about anything that excites me, and second, even if I had, there was a lot of buzz and excitement last year for what turned out to be a pretty disappointing year for new shows.  There was the the megahit, Heroes, which I was into for a while, but when it came down to trim the must sees, it didn't make the cut.  There was Shark, a quiet success that I actually ended up really enjoying.  Again, I don't plan around it, but if I'm home I'll watch.  Those are basically the only two that did well enough to stick around that I actually enjoyed.  Then there was Studio 60, which, I still love and can't get enough of, but absolutely tanked in the press and the ratings.  Talk about disappointment.  Especially for the most talked about show preseason.  So this year, my expectations are low in the hope that something wonderful comes through and surprises me.  I'm hearing good things about Pushing Daises, and Michael Vartan's new show has to be at least worth giving a shot.  I mean, its Michael Vartan on my small screen again.  I'm sure Private Practice will go, thanks solely to the biggest Hack that ever Hacked, Ms. Shonda Rhimes herself, because the show is not good.  Its things like this that make me completely sure that American Pop Culture has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Anyway, thats it for now.  Countdown started for a great summer...

I mean sure, that timing is whoaaa weird.  totally cancels out any logic we were trying to put into educated guesses, but whatever.  my MONTH just got sooo much better.  Now the question is...how much do I want to be there for it?  Seriously...I'm pretty sure I'd sacrifice limbs.


PS - Radcliffe?  Seriously?  Next question...do I want to be in London for that?

OMG...it's been so long since I've written!  Europe was great...except for that whole bomb scare thing.  You know...its one thing to hear about it....but its completely different to be there, involved and seeing the ramifications.  Scary.

We're back in school now...fun!  Two more semesters and I'm outta here!  So I've been just hanging out...seeing people that came back from the summer!  I like most of my classes in general.

So....Nick and Phyllis? Still doing good...I love my Y&R girls!  Speaking of which (TV that is)...the new season is about to start!  Studio 60, Justice, and Heroes I love!  I'm super pumped about them...but I totally can't wait for my favs to start again!  Lost, GG, Veronica!  And Dancing with the Stars starts in a week!  I love those guilty pleasures!  And LOST season two comes out on Tuesday!  YAY can't wait!  Ahh...I love the fall!

So...I've finally gotten past my writer's block on my Sarkney fic!  That new chap should be up soon!

And...I'm going to Chicago to shop and see Wicked in Oct.  Fun times:)

We laid out yesterday, something I haven't had a whole lot of time for this summer, and because of that...I'm fried.  Like I can't move.  Mostly just from the chest up (yeah I look like Rudolph), but still...painful!

I feel like the summer is flying by...and I mixed emotions about it.  I like being busy, I like that at some point it won't be this &$%#&@! hot anymore and I like that it just gets me closer to getting the crap out of here....on the other hand...I do like summertime.  heh.

Side note:  Can I just mention how much I love Krystal :)  Woman, aside from horribly contributing to my nasty habit, our times are the best times!  Love you babe.
